SHF + SENIORS HAVING FUN
Take a break from this “Summer’s Heat” by joining us in
the COOL Parish Hall for our monthly meeting!!! We will
start on Monday, July 23rd at 10am with social time and
the meeting at 10:30am. It’s also time for our Summer
Luncheon, catered by Lukasek, and home-made dessert.
The cost is $11 per person. Reservations are needed.

Recycling Drive
Saturday, August 4th
9am to 12 Noon
SHF Parking Lot
Ever wonder what to do with your old computer, TV,
printer, stereo, scanner, fax machine cell phone or VCR
or even a broken coffee pot? Bring it for easy drop-off
collection and recycling. Items accepted for recycling
include most electronic equipment and small household
appliances.
CRT computer monitors and TVs will also be accepted
free of charge, but the Parish will not receive monies for
these items.
All other equipment is recycled free of charge!!!
Recycling process includes secure data
destruction and zero landfill!!!
SHF will receive 5 cents per pound of equipment
collected for recycling!!!
Your Help is needed for Holy Cross Academy
As most of you know Annunciation School is going to become Holy Cross Academy Middle School next fall. In order to
make this transition there are many things that need to be accomplished in the school before August 16. This is why we
are asking for the assistance of parishioners and especially all middle school parents. We have a list of items to complete
and we have been meeting with Amie Koenen, the President of Holy Cross Academy, and representatives of St.
Michael’s , Our Lady of Providence and Seven Holy Founders. In these meetings we have prioritized each item as to
importance. We are planning on having more meetings for all who are interested to help with these tasks. We are asking
everyone, and again, especially the Middle School parents to plan on attending. Meeting dates will be published
soon. This will be a great opportunity for all High School Students to obtain needed service hours. We will attempt to
keep these meetings short and focused on the tasks that need to be completed before the start of school to address all
needs at these locations. Thank you in advance for your help and we all understand that to make Holy Cross Academy
be successful it will be truly a team effort. If you can help please contact one of us below and let us know your skill.
