Welcome to Cracow! Transfer<br />

Day 3—Cracow<br />

Today’s in-depth sightseeing tour begins in the historic<br />

Kazimierz district of the city. Then visit Wawel Castle and stroll<br />

with your guide through Old Town to Market Square and the<br />

beautifully-ornate Cloth Hall. See lovely St. Mary’s Church<br />

before returning to your hotel for the balance of the afternoon<br />

at leisure. This evening, we’ll take you to one of our favorite city<br />

Day 4—A FreeStyle Day in Cracow<br />

Tailor your journey with the included excursion of your choice.<br />

Wielizca Salt Mines: Visit this vast underground complex<br />

where miners-turned-artists have created a labyrinth of passages<br />

and caverns, with elaborate chapels of crystalline salt ornamented<br />

with beautiful sculptures carved from the salt rock.<br />

Auschwitz Memorial: Join your guide for this in-depth<br />

excursion to the somber memorial at Auschwitz. It’s a powerful<br />

experience that will resonate with you for a lifetime.<br />

Tyskie Brewery: The rich heritage of this brewery stretches<br />

back to 1613 when it was owned by the local Promnice family.<br />

By the end of the 19th century, it was one of the largest<br />

and most modern breweries on the Continent. Of course, this<br />

guided excursion includes a tasting of this historic beer!<br />

Day 5—Cracow–Warsaw, Poland<br />

After breakfast, board the train for a scenic rail journey through<br />

the Polish countryside to Warsaw. Upon arrival, you’ll be met<br />

and escorted to the deluxe Polonia Palace Hotel, a city landmark<br />

for nearly 100 years. The balance of your day is at leisure here in<br />

the heart of the city. Meals B.<br />

Day 6—Warsaw<br />

Today’s privately-guided sightseeing tour explores all the highlights,<br />

beginning along the historic Royal Road, graced with<br />

Baroque mansions and stately buildings. See picturesque<br />

Lazienki Park and enjoy a guided walk through Old Town to<br />

Market Square to see the grand Royal Palace. Visit the Warsaw<br />

Museum and stop by the city’s oldest pastry shop for coffee and<br />
