If the layers of NOMEX ® und KEVLAR ® are exposed to heat and flames, the thermal shrinking is different: air pockets form between the two layers, known as „Active Air Entrapment“. Already in the standard version, a channel system is inserted in the jacket which makes it possible to introduce a Drag Rescue Device (DRD).
