Hegulations.
\mo, The old fares are repealed, and those before
mentioned are substituted in lieu thereof, to be cal-
culated by the hour or mile only.
2do, That the number of each Coach shall be de-
livered by the Magistrates, and affixed as they shall
direct j and that there shall not be the same number
on two Coaches ; and that no Coach wanting such
number shall be allowed to ply.
3//o, That no insufficient Coach or Horses shall
be allowed to ply ;
and when any of the proper fur-
niture of coach steps, springs, blinds, glasses, or
check-strings for stopping the coach, are awanting,
it shall be lawful to detain from the hire one shilling,
or the whole hire, if it shall not amount to more.
The coachman always to keep the check-strings in
his left hand when driving, under a penalty not exceeding
five shillings.
