We are committed to sourcing and supplying our products under the
highest social, human rights and environmental standards. To achieve
this we review our suppliers carefully, to ensure our supply chain
consists of companies similarly committed to respecting human rights
and protecting the environment. We refer to a number of specialist
bodies to assist us, such as FairTrade, Cafod’s ‘Golden Rules’ and the
Timber Federation’s Responsible Purchasing Policy. We are constantly
seeking new ways to improve our performance in these areas. If you have
any suggestions please let us know.
Our showroom at Telford Place, Crawley
Slabbinck is known for special or personalized
projects of all sizes. Together we explore
the different possibilities for any liturgical
celebration.
Most recently, we supplied the vestments for
the 50th International Eucharistic Congress in
Dublin.
As a memento, we propose the festive chasuble
with the IEC logo.
Martin Barlow designed the logo ”People in
Communion”. It is meant to convey the idea that
people of all countries, races, languages and
tribes come together as one in the communion,
through and in the faith in Jesus Christ.
The crosses refer to Ex. 28:12 and 28:29, where
is mentioned the names of the twelve tribes of
Israel should be written on the shoulders of the
vestment of Aaron and Moses. Twelve is also the
number of fullness and of the twelve apostles.
For this event, twelve Celtic crosses have been
used.
Pius, fabric of 100% man-made fibres. Digital
printing, a modern technique that gives the
liturgy a contemporary expression.
Interchangeable superfrontal
These stylish interchangeable superfrontals are lined, interlined and easy to
attach with velcro (positive part hooklets attached to the altar cloth, negative part
felt attached to the superfrontal), making it possible to leave the main cloth on
the altar. With these superfrontals, use a heavy altar cloth (e.g. in Omega-fabric),
or an altar cloth with lining and interlining (double price) to reduce sliding.
They can also be ordered separately for existing altar cloths, in which case we will
supply the velcro positive strips free of charge (please indicate if required when
ordering). Please note prices are for superfrontals only for altar length (A) up to
71”(180 cm), standard height (D) 10”(25 cm) (same price up to 12”(30 cm)). Altar
cloths at extra charge, see p. 44, 45 and 46.
