The Speedball Acrylic Screen Inks<br />
have been specifically formulated for<br />
use on paper, wood and cardboard.<br />
The Speedball Fabric Screen Printing<br />
Inks are for use on cotton, polyester<br />
and blends, linen, rayon and other<br />
synthetic fibres (but not nylon).<br />
They also work well on paper and<br />
cardboard. The colours are wash fast<br />
to 40ºC when heat-set with an iron<br />
on the reverse of the print.<br />
The inks do not contain solvents, are<br />
non-toxic and non-flammable and<br />
safe for industrial use, at school and<br />
in workshops, or in the home.<br />
Speedball Acrylic Screen Inks<br />
Permanent inks for use on paper and board<br />
which give a pigmented, matte-finish. The inks<br />
print well on wallpaper, oil-based primed boards<br />
and wood, on vinyl and on primed surfaces and<br />
they should always be pre-tested. Colours may<br />
be intermixed and are rated ‘Good to Excellent’<br />
for light fastness.<br />

Speedball Fabric Screen Inks<br />
Inks specifically formulated for screen printing<br />
onto fabric such as cotton, polyester and blends,<br />
linen, rayon, fibreglass, and other synthetic<br />
fabrics. Most of the colours are recommended<br />
for printing on white or light fabrics and are<br />
rated good to excellent for light fastness<br />
(except Orange, which is ‘fair’). Prints are wash<br />
fast and have a soft handle. Heat-set the screen<br />
inks when they are dry, by ironing on the wrong<br />
side for 3 minutes with a hot iron. Wash fabric<br />
inside out at the correct wash temperature.<br />

Speedball Transparent Base<br />
Mix with either Speedball Fabric or Acrylic<br />
screen printing inks to achieve greater colour<br />
transparency. Take care not to add any more<br />
than 10-15% transparent base to the ink.<br />
