Worship God.‖Rev.22:8-9 The godly respect and honour that we give to people should never leave us feeling<br />
inferior. To be born from aboveJn.3:3 and called a son of GodGal.4:6; Rom.8:16 gives us a spiritual<br />
status that supersedes any social status. Without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greaterHeb.7:5 so<br />
when Jacob blessed PharaohGen.47:3 the Believer (Jacob) showed that he was greater than the<br />
most important person in the known world (Pharaoh)! But this importance does not give<br />
us the right to dominate or control others. You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over<br />
them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to<br />
become great among you must be your servant. Matt.20:25-26 Be shepherds of God's flock… not lording it over<br />
those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.<br />

So, how do we handle honour? Allow people to show their appreciation but don’t<br />
take the credit for what God has done and continue to base our principles &<br />
precepts on New Covenant teaching.
