Although Jesus introduced the Kingdom, it did not properly begin until Jesus returned to
His Father and sent the Holy Spirit as His replacement: God has raised this Jesus to life, and we
are all witnesses of it. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised
Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. Acts2:32-33 ―When the Counsellor comes, whom I
will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about
me. Jn.15:26 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counsellor to be with you forever— the
Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know
him, for he lives with you and will be in you. Jn.14:16-17 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes
on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth. Acts2:8 Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and
for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.‖ Acts2:38-39
It was this next chapter of God’s plan – the outpouring, indwelling and
empowering of the Holy Spirit - that Priscilla and Aquila explained to Apollos: [He] was
accurate in everything he taught about Jesus up to a point, but he only went as far as the baptism of John.
He preached with power in the meeting place. When Priscilla and Aquila heard [Apollos], they took him
aside and told him the rest of the story. Acts18:25-26TM There is more to Christianity than sins
forgiven – we are now God’s Family. God has high expectations for us and we have a
Family reputation to uphold - God‘s good Name is in our care!
Don’t settle for half the story but read the end of the book! ―These are dependable and
accurate words, every one… Let evildoers do their worst and the dirty-minded go all out in pollution, but
let the righteous maintain a straight course and the holy continue on in holiness.‖ ―Yes, I‘m on my way! I‘ll
be there soon! I‘m bringing my payroll with me. I‘ll pay all people in full for their life‘s work. I‘m A to Z,
the First and the Final, Beginning and Conclusion. ―How blessed are those who wash their robes! The
Tree of Life is theirs for good, and they‘ll walk through the gates to the City. But outside for good are the
filthy curs: sorcerers, fornicators, murderers, idolaters—all who love and live lies. ―I, Jesus, sent my Angel
to testify to these things for the churches. I‘m the Root and Branch of David, the Bright Morning Star.‖
―Come!‖ say the Spirit and the Bride. Whoever hears, echo, ―Come!‖ Is anyone thirsty? Come! All who
will, come and drink, Drink freely of the Water of Life! …―I‘m on my way! I‘ll be there soon!‖ Yes!
