Synchronous bipolar Motors (High-speed) 5.1 Synchronous Motors of line СТД, СТДП, СТДМ, СТД2, СДГ, СДГМ Turbomotors of a synchronous line СТД, СТДП, СТДМ, СТД2 by capacity 630... 12500 kW bipolar , three-phase current and the frequency 50 and 60 Hz are intended for the drive of pumps, compressors, gas blowers, blasts and other high-speed mechanisms maintained in areas with a moderate and tropical climate. The motors of a Line СТДП are intended for operation in the explosive rooms of all classes. The motors of a Line СТД, СТДМ, СТДП are executed on the foundation plates with two bearings and one business end of the shaft, and motors of a Line СТД2 are on sliding bearings which been built - in in boards. The motors of a Line СТД, СТДМ and СТД2 by capacity up to 5000 kW are produced with closed and open cycles of ventilation. A degree of protection is IP44 (c.c.) and IP22 (o.l.).. The cooling of motors with the closed cycle of ventilation is carried out by built - in air-coolers working on sweet or salt water. The emission of heated up air of motors with an open loop of ventilation is carried out through the jalousie in the stator enclosure. The excitation of a Line СТД, СТДМ and СТД2 motors is carried out from thyristor exciters of a Line ВТЕ 10-315 or from brushless excitation devices of a Line БВУ . The motors of a Line СТДП are excited from the brushless excitation devices of a Line БВУП. The motors СДГМ-12500-2УЗ and СДГ-12500-2 УХЛ3.1 are driven from the exciter such as ВТЕ 630/150Т-УХЛЗ. The way of motors start is direct-on-line from full circuit voltage, or impedance start depending on the value of inertia moments of presented mechanisms. As agreed with the manufacturer the frequent starts of motors (except for СТДП) from thyristor frequency converters (the starting thyristor device) are accepted. A complete set of delivery includes: the excitation device, electric heaters for motors of tropical version, foundation fixture, assembly accessories, spare parts to the exciter and motor, operational documentation. Turbine motors are produced according to ГОСТ 183-74 and individual specifications of the Customer.
