11.1 Traction Generators ГСТ
OIL AND GAS SYSTEMS • PRIVOD
The synchronous salient pole generators ГСТ are for conversion of mechanical energy of a diesel locomotive motor
in electrical and power supply of traction DC electric motors through a rectifying installation. The generators are
installed in a locomotive body.
The excitation of generators is independent. It implements from single-phase exciter VSТ. Operational mode of
generators is continuous at parameters that are not exceeding nominal, and temperature of an environment is
from -50°С up to +40°С.
Way of cooling of generators is blowing artificial ventilation. The intake of cooling air is made from the outside
through the air filters.
The generators are executed with one bearing board and free end of the shaft on the part of slip rings. The version
of generators is IМ1309. The degree of protection is IР21.
Completeness of delivery is following: the generator, spare parts, operation documentation.
The design of generators is protected by the patent № 32268 on useful model. The certificate of conformity №
