Yallingup Coastal Strip
Plant Species Selection
The plants in the attached list are indigenous to the Yallingup Coastal strip and can be used for
rehabilitation, revegetation and landscaping where local native plants are required or preferred.
The Yallingup Coastal strip is characterised by limestone based coastal dunes covered in low to
medium height, dense heath which graduates to sandy banksia woodland with patches of moist sandy
flats. The landscape further graduates to loamy - gravelly soils with Marri/Jarrah woodland and a
peppermint understorey.
The Yallingup Coastal strip is taken as being from Bunkers Bay to Cape Naturaliste and Wilyabrup, and
is generally bounded by Caves Road in the East.
