SUMMARY<br />

Lesson One Outcomes Creative Task & Criteria Assessment Strategies<br />

Students will be able to:<br />

Demonstrate ability to actively listen and focus<br />

attention (AP, CRA).<br />

Show understanding <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> musical terms: steady<br />

beat, pitch and tempo.<br />

Get into “listening position” and “neutral position”.<br />

Demonstrate through writing, discussing, drawing,<br />

photographing, and/or performance that <strong>the</strong>y have<br />

learned <strong>the</strong> content <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> lesson.<br />

Teacher will:<br />

Teach <strong>the</strong> lesson effectively.<br />

Assess student learning outcomes.<br />

Document, collect and label <strong>the</strong> evidence <strong>of</strong> student<br />

Use adjectives to describe traits <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> animals<br />

(big/small, loud/s<strong>of</strong>t, slow/fast, heavy/light).<br />
