<strong>The</strong> Spicer front non drive steering axles are identified with a tag located between the spring pads, on the front side of the center beam section.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Spicer model numbering system provides pertinent information about the axle for easy identification. For example:<br />

Drive Axle Identification<br />

All Spicer heavy axle assemblies are identified with two tags. One located on the differential carrier, and the other on the right front leg of the<br />

banjo housing. <strong>The</strong> carrier tag contains the serial number, the carrier assembly number, and the ratio. <strong>The</strong> housing tag contains the serial<br />

number, model number, and the axle assembly number.<br />
