MODEL IDENTIFICATION
The Spicer front non drive steering axles are identified with a tag located between the spring pads, on the front side of the center beam section.

The Spicer model numbering system provides pertinent information about the axle for easy identification. For example:
Drive Axle Identification
All Spicer heavy axle assemblies are identified with two tags. One located on the differential carrier, and the other on the right front leg of the
banjo housing. The carrier tag contains the serial number, the carrier assembly number, and the ratio. The housing tag contains the serial
number, model number, and the axle assembly number.
