SAMPLING OF THE RINSING WATER
PURPOSE OF THE CONTROL
D04139 - Instructions to sample rinsing water
This procedure is intended to assure the quality of the water during the final rinsing of your endoscopes
at the end of your Soluscope ENT treatment. It also allows to check the presence of a possible
contamination of the machine internal circuits.
SYNTHESIS OF THE PROCEDURE
1
Lid seal is cleaned with a disinfecting surface spray.
2 Self-disinfection cycle 6 is launched.
3 Access to bowl filling menu.
4 Water is sampled from the bottom of the bowl in the sterile container.
5 Bowl is drained and Soluscope ENT is reset by user.
EQUIPMENT
• A container with a capacity of about 200 cc sterile with shutting.
• A pair of sterile gloves.
• One syringe.
• One SL-OTE
STAGE 1
1 Open the lid.
2 Connect SL-OTE and launch a cycle 10 (inflation of the lid seal).
3 Press MAIN once the lid is inflated.
4 Use a disinfecting surface spray to disinfect the lid seal of your
Soluscope ENT.
5 Deflate the lid seal by opening the Luer-Lock on the side of your
Soluscope ENT beneath the 0.2 μm terminal filter.
6 Close the Luer-Lock.
7 Close the lid.
STAGE 2
Launch a cycle 6.
STAGE 3
At the end of a self-disinfection cycle, start at the initial menu :

STAGE 4 - SAMPLING

1 Deflate the lid seal by opening the Luer-Lock on the side of your Soluscope ENT under the 0.2 μm
terminal filter (see photo 5 page 1).
2 Open the lid.
3 Wear sterile gloves.

4 Using a syringe, collect 200 cc of water from the bottom of the bowl and fill the sterile sampling
container.
STAGE 5 - RESETTING SOLUSCOPE ENT
Once the sampling is finished, do not forget to drain the bowl (press F2 Drain).
