Wives must personally commit their lives to Christ, for the
greatest achievement as a Christian mother is to bring up
children who are devoted to the Church and God and this you
can do through Jesus Christ who is your Life, Strength and
Wisdom.
8. CONCLUSION
Award is all about selfless service which requires your
willingness to serve and obey Christ. In turn it enables you to be
useful and useable servant to God. The cost is enormous but the
gain unquantifiable. Your investiture will mark the beginning
of a new chapter in your life as you become more focused in
your Christian race.
Ask God to give you the grace to make yourself available for use
as a vessel of honour, fighting the evil forces against the Church
and its members. When you achieve this your Christian life will
become exemplary and the joy of the Lord will be your portion.
Remember that you are doing the work of your Creator, the
righteous Judge and great Rewarder. Be rest assured that your
labour will not go unrewarded. Therefore “whatsoever you do
in words and in deeds do them not as unto men but as unto the
Lord”. Col. 3:23. May God grant you His grace to keep this charge
as we sing MHB 578 stanzas 1 and 2
1. A charge to keep I have,
A God is glorify,
A never dying soul to save,
And fit it for the sky.
2. To serve the present age,
My calling to fulfill
O may it all my powers engage
To do my Master’s will
