str<strong>on</strong>G strIKes and strIKe CombInatI<strong>on</strong>s<br />
Striking is <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> quickest way <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> inflict damage <strong>on</strong> your opp<strong>on</strong>ent. Pressing X performs<br />
a quick strike against your opp<strong>on</strong>ent. Holding X unleashes a powerful but slower (and<br />
easier <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> counter) heavy strike. Combining X while pushing L in a directi<strong>on</strong> gives you a<br />
variety of different strikes.<br />
Pressing X as each strike lands creates a strike combinati<strong>on</strong> that sends your opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
reeling and builds momentum in a hurry.<br />

Note: A successful strike combinati<strong>on</strong> (all four strikes c<strong>on</strong>nect) leaves <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> opp<strong>on</strong>ent in a standing<br />
groggy state and vulnerable <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> groggy grapple moves, <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g>p rope diving attacks and o<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r devastating<br />
attacks.<br />
ChaIn Grapples<br />
All grapple attacks in <str<strong>on</strong>g>WWE</str<strong>on</strong>g> ‘13 start from <strong>on</strong>e of four chain grapple states. To enter a<br />
chain grapple state, approach a standing opp<strong>on</strong>ent and press A while pushing L in up,<br />
down, left or right.<br />
Waist Lock:<br />
A+L ≤ facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent or A from behind opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Wrist Lock:<br />
A+L ñ facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Fr<strong>on</strong>t Face Lock:<br />
A+L µ facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent or A by itself<br />
Side Head Lock:<br />
A+L ∫ facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Once your opp<strong>on</strong>ent is locked in a grappled state, you’ve got <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>m right w<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> you<br />
want <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>m. Use <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> following commands <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> dish out <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> punishment or set <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>m up for<br />
