GroGGy Grapples<br />
When your opp<strong>on</strong>ent is standing but stunned,<br />
you’ve got him right w<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> you want him. To<br />
perform a groggy grapple, approach an opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
from <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> fr<strong>on</strong>t or behind while <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>y’re in a groggy<br />
state and simply press A, or press A and push<br />
L ∫/ ñ/µ/≤ in any directi<strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> execute a str<strong>on</strong>g<br />
grapple attack.<br />
To make an opp<strong>on</strong>ent groggy, land all four strikes in a strike combinati<strong>on</strong>, lift up a<br />
downed opp<strong>on</strong>ent and reverse attacks from a heavily damaged opp<strong>on</strong>ent. The Limb<br />
Targeting System can also be utilized (see “Limb Targeting System” below).<br />
Fr<strong>on</strong>t Grapple Attack (5 different kinds) A, or A+L ∫/ ñ/µ/≤ facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Rear Grapple Attack (5 different kinds) A, or A+L ∫/ ñ/µ/≤ behind standing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Fr<strong>on</strong>t Breaking Point Submissi<strong>on</strong> Hold A facing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Rear Breaking Point Submissi<strong>on</strong> Hold A behind standing opp<strong>on</strong>ent<br />
Switch <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> Fr<strong>on</strong>t Facelock/Drag Hold ]+ x and push L<br />
IrIsh WhIp<br />
Sending your opp<strong>on</strong>ent running out of c<strong>on</strong>trol with<br />
an Irish Whip is a great way <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> take c<strong>on</strong>trol of <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
match. Press B <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> Irish whip your opp<strong>on</strong>ent in<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> directi<strong>on</strong> that you push L. Catch <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>m <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
rebound with a strike (X) or grapple (A).<br />
Irish Whip Opp<strong>on</strong>ent B (push L <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> aim opp<strong>on</strong>ent)<br />
Counter Strike X when opp<strong>on</strong>ent is running at you<br />
Counter Grapple A when opp<strong>on</strong>ent is running at you<br />
Alternate Counter Grapple Hold A when opp<strong>on</strong>ent is running at you<br />
Duck or Leap Frog Running Opp<strong>on</strong>ent _ when opp<strong>on</strong>ent is running at you<br />

opp<strong>on</strong>ent is released)<br />

opp<strong>on</strong>ent is released)<br />
reVersals<br />
Just because some jabr<strong>on</strong>i throws a punch at you, that doesn’t mean you have <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> stand<br />
t<str<strong>on</strong>g>here</str<strong>on</strong>g> and take it! Press x as so<strong>on</strong> as your opp<strong>on</strong>ent begins <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir strike <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> reverse or<br />
block it.<br />
If you reverse a punch or a kick, you grab hold of your opp<strong>on</strong>ent’s arm or leg and have a<br />
short window of opportunity <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> counter attack!<br />
Note: If you’re <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> attacker, and your opp<strong>on</strong>ent attempts <str<strong>on</strong>g>to</str<strong>on</strong>g> reverse your strike or grapple, you can<br />
reverse <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>ir reversal with x and good timing!<br />
