Message from the President of the
Saskatchewan Music Festival Association
On behalf of the Saskatchewan Music Festival Association,
it is my great please to welcome all of the delegates attending
the 2010 Saskatchewan Music Conference.
This year’s theme, “Better Together,” with a strong vision is
featuring an outstanding array of sessions for attendees to
go back home rejuvenated with new ideas for working with
students and volunteers in their communities.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers and staff on the
conference committee who have worked carefully to ensure
that this weekend will be a memorable event for all.

Message from the President of the
Saskatchewan Orchestral Association
As President of the Saskatchewan Orchestral Association,
I am pleased that the SOA is participating in the Saskatchewan
Music Conference this year in partnership with the
SBA, SCF, SMFA, and SMEA organizations. There are many
common interests and opportunities for us to work together,
and we look forward to a successful conference. Orchestral
programs operate throughout the province for all age
groups, and we, together with our musical PCO partners,
share the need for more support for instruction, training,
and performances for our groups. This conference is our
opportunity to share experiences and seek original solutions
to our common issues.
