Have you ever dreamt of doing something out of the ordinary?
That's exactly what Nick did from his desk in London when a turn of events made him re-evaluate his life.
With girlfriend and sailing partner Melisa he commissioned a brand new 44 foot Pilot Cutter Sailing Vessel
to be built in the traditional manner, sunk all his money into making a dream come true, and took the risk
of making a business, out of taking others to sail aboard the beautiful 'Amelie Rose'. She sails the seas
around Cornwall, Scillies and France and was star of the show in the recent TV series 'The Hungry Sailors',
with Nick her Skipper.
Nick joins us for a night at Castor Village Hall on Saturday 23rd February to tell us his story, and unite
everyone who loves to sail, loves to dream, or would like to share a cosy winter’s evening of merry making
amongst village folk. Local folk band PennyLess will be playing their beautiful music, and a bowl of chilli is
included. More details will follow - watch out for adverts around the village and details in the next
magazine detailing where to buy tickets.
