Rev. Dr. Georgianna A. Land is an ordained minister in <strong>the</strong> AME Church<br />
and a retired college professor and educational administrator with a variety<br />
of experiences and achievements in educational, congressional, and governmental<br />
administration. She currently serves as a Foreign Affairs Officer<br />
at <strong>the</strong> Department of State in <strong>the</strong> office of <strong>the</strong> Special Representative <strong>for</strong><br />
Global Intergovernmental Affairs, Office of <strong>the</strong> Secretary. Dr. Land is<br />
responsible <strong>for</strong> designing strategies <strong>for</strong> integrating domestic and <strong>for</strong>eign<br />
sub-national partnerships to improve local governance and public service<br />
delivery at <strong>the</strong> international, national, and local levels.
