Arches have become a popular decorative<br />

and practical feature of new construction<br />

for both commercial and housing<br />

developments. They can be used to<br />

complement new brickwork or to match in<br />

with existing brickwork in refurbishment<br />

and renovation schemes.<br />

Our standard range of span dimensions<br />

gives a greater choice than the British<br />

Standard. Canted and Bullnose profiles are<br />

available as standard.<br />

The arches illustrated here are a small<br />

selection of those available. Different types<br />

of arches to an architect’s own design can<br />

easily be manufactured. Expert advice and<br />

The spiral brick is an <strong>Ibstock</strong> innovation to produce<br />

decorative columns and chimneys.<br />

This unique design is a very simple shape which<br />

allows you to create complex spirals with just one<br />

standard <strong>special</strong>.<br />

The spirals can follow a clockwise or anti-clockwise<br />

pattern or cross over, yet all are laid with a single,<br />

straight plumb line down the perpendicular joints.<br />

way of forming returns and angles which has now<br />

become an established detail for variable angles<br />

through 180˚ making a decorative and practical<br />

solution to all designs.<br />

The Universal Joint is available in two formats:<br />

Easyangle ® and a two piece option.<br />

The two piece option gives a more pristine finish,<br />

whilst the one piece reduces complexity on site and<br />

is very cost effective. Both options are shown.<br />

We also offer a unique <strong>Ibstock</strong> Universal Joint stop<br />

<strong>special</strong> - the ‘Elephants Foot’, which can be used to<br />
