Gas fires inserts - to fit an existing hearth
GAS FIRES INSERTS
Barbas has the answer for customers who want to replace their open fireplace with a gas fire - an insert which
can be fitted into just such a space. The existing hearth can often remain intact as the new gas fire can be
fitted in situ.All the customer needs is an available gas supply. Such fireplaces are a frequent choice even in new
homes. Unlike balanced flue gas fires, gas inserts for existing hearths work on the open combustion principle.

and every interior.These Barbas stoves have a double-walled convection air cavity.The effect of this system is
that the air volume can be warmed up quickly. The product range contains models made of steel or soap

Multi-fuel fire inserts
When designing fire inserts to fit an existing hearth, Barbas had two assumptions.The first of these was the
demand for an alternative for the traditional open hearth. The customer was also reportedly looking for a
fireplace with a high output. Barbas inserts which fit into an existing hearth unite the ambience of an open
hearth and the output of an energy-efficient stove in one product. As with all Barbas stoves, all Barbas inserts
have a double-wall convection system.This system draws in air from below, heats it in the double-wall cavity
and radiates the warm air evenly throughout the heated area.
