Retail Tenant Sign Guidelines<br />

1.0 Introduction<br />

Please see Dwg. SG.A.03 Please see Dwg. SG.A.02<br />

.1 Signs are for identification purposes only. Messages shall be limited to trading<br />

names and corporate logotype as agreed in Lease documents with the Landlord.<br />

.2 Advertising of products may not be displayed as a Sign unless approved by the<br />

Landlord.<br />

.3 The design of a Sign is subject to the approval of the Landlord. The Tenant must<br />

submit a scale (not less than 1:10), drawing of the proposed Sign as provided by<br />

his/her Sign Contractor. The Tenant may be asked to submit a full sized pen plot.<br />

.4 Non-illuminated sign faces shall be polycarbonate, aluminum or cedar with applied<br />

vinyl or blasted and painted graphics.<br />

.5 Illuminated sign faces shall be polycarbonate. Preferred lighting is Brilliant White<br />

LEDs. 110v power supply by Landlord; all electrics, electrical hookup by Tenant.<br />

.6 Tenant's messages (graphics) shall not exceed the stipulated sizes and areas. There<br />

are no other restrictions relative to size, shape, colour, area or position of signs or<br />

graphics .<br />

.7 Graphics appear on one face (SF) or both faces (DF).<br />

.8 Finish all backs (of SF signs), ends, edges, tops, bottoms, of signs to match ground<br />

colour.<br />

.9 The number of signs per tenant shall be stipulated by the Landlord.<br />

.10 Notwithstanding the restrictions described in these Guidelines, the Tenant may<br />

submit for approval variations for consideration. The Landlord may refuse such<br />

applications without explanation.<br />

2.0 Prohibited Graphics<br />

.1 Paper adhered to glass.<br />

.2 Other than as described above and shown in these Guidelines, no other signs or<br />

messages or graphics are pernitted.<br />

3.0 Specifications<br />

.1 Sign Type 1 SF, Corporate Name + Logotype<br />

By Tenant: 100mm thick (max.) x 55cm h SF (single faced), suspended, internally-<br />

illuminated frameless sign box, polycarbonate face; opaque illuminated graphics to<br />

occupy a total area not greater than 75% of sign area.<br />

.2 Sign Type 1A SF, Corporate Name + Logotype<br />

By Tenant: SF (single faced), internally-illuminated frameless sign box in aluminum<br />

store front; no exposed fastenings; opaque polycarbonate face; illuminated graphics<br />

to occupy a total area not greater than 75% of sign area.<br />

.3 Sign Type 2, Corporate Name + Logotype (optional)<br />

By Tenant: reverse, matte white vinyl graphics to occupy a total area not greater than<br />

.25m 2 .<br />

.4 Sign Type 3, Hours of Operation, Credit Card Decals (optional)<br />

By Tenant: holder and/or applied graphics to occupy a rectangle 250mm wide with<br />

a total area not greater than .25m 2 .<br />

.5 Sign Type 4: Suite Postal Address<br />

By Landlord: 150mm high reverse, matte white vinyl suite number on glazed<br />

transom.<br />

.6 Sign Type 6 DF, Corporate Name + Logotype<br />

By Tenant: 50 - 100mm thick (max.) x 55cm x 55cm DF (double faced), projecting or<br />

suspended rectangle or disk. Polycarbonate, aluminum or cedar with applied vinyl,<br />

or blasted and painted graphics to occupy a total area not greater than 75% of sign<br />

area per face.<br />
