Changes Name to IEWC
On september 1st 2010, Industrial
Electric Wire and Cable officially
changed its name to IEWC. Also
debuting with the IEWC name is
a new logo, which better reflects
the company’s focus on providing
supply chain solutions for OEMs
and sub-assemblers around the
globe.
Paul Bryant, chief commercial Officer, stated
“The company’s growth necessitated this
change. As our market share expands into
new geographies with new product offerings,
the company needs a name that will move us
forward for years to come.
David nestingen, President and chief executive
Officer said, “The name ‘industrial electric
wire & cable’ has served the company well
over the years. while wire and cable will still
be the core of our business, it was limited to
specific markets and didn’t speak to our capabilities
in wire management products. The
change to ‘iewc’ consolidates our customer
service efforts and assures all iewc stakeholders
are receiving the same products and
service regardless of location.

new logo and helping facilitate

Capabilities
As part of the company re-brand, iewc has integrated its former aerospace and defense division, ‘colonial wire &
cable’ in Boston, mA and expanded its mil-spec product offering throughout the organization.
Paul Bryant, chief commercial Officer, stated, “we’re taking the knowledge and expertise from our aerospace and
defense specialists under the former colonial brand and expanding it to our other locations. every iewc stocking
facility now has first rate aerospace and defense capabilities with the high levels of service and quality our customers
have come to expect.”
The Boston, mA location will now carry the iewc name and service the US new england area, covering the states of
maine, new Hampshire, Vermont, massachusetts, rhode island, connecticut and parts of upstate new York.

IEWC Extends its
Distribution Network
in Mexico
IEWC’s newest stocking facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
iewc plans to further expand its products and
service offerings across mexico. As of november
2010, will operate a new distribution center in
monterrey, nuevo leon, mexico. The new building
includes a 15,000 square foot warehouse with an
adjacent 1,000 square foot office.
ricardo Garcia, President of iewc mexico stated,
“monterrey is one of the strongest manufacturing
centers in north America and having a stocking
facility there will allow us to provide service to our
customers in mexico.”
The distribution center will offer services including
scheduled orders, eDi, custom labels, barcodes
and custom packaging among other familiar iewc
solutions. This new environment friendly building
will also be leeD certified, the standard for green
architecture.
