N
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
The Youth Opportunity
Youth create many opportunities for credit unions. Many leaders
have been challenged with identifying ways of maximizing these
opportunities including; gaining more youth market share or
attracting, developing and retaining youth to meet our future
leadership needs. Join our young system leaders in a vibrant
and frank discussion on how to “crack the youth challenge”.
O
Changing Landscape of Payment Services
Emerging payment technologies are creating significant
opportunities to create value for members. But new entrants
to the payments services business are challenging the existing
payments infrastructure and taking market share away from
financial institutions. How will credit unions participate in a
changing payments landscape that encompasses mobile,
contactless, online payments and e-wallets. How will credit
unions meet the demand of their members for innovative and
secure payment innovations?
Credit Union Issues Forum
A Celebration of Collaboration
At last year's Issues Forum we surfaced opportunities for
system-wide collaboration and over 100 participants expressed
their willingness to make things happen. As we well know,
it is action, not simply an expression of good intentions that
generates positive change! In this year's workshop we will hear
what progress has been achieved over the last year in a variety
of truly collaborative projects. We will celebrate progress,
explore the conditions that led to success, and identify how to
maintain momentum in continuing to strengthen the Canadian
Credit Union system for all of us. Join the celebration and
add your energy and enthusiasm to taking even bolder steps
together in the future!
