LIMITED SET MAIN SET<br />
The RSD Limited Set borrows from alot of RSD custom bikes, with the<br />
subtle merging of motorcycling heritage and modern components, creating<br />
the perfect combination of style and function. Our unique and exclusive<br />
waxed and oiled leather is utilized in a limited collection of<br />
riding jackets and accessories, plus we’ve combined classic materials<br />
such as US manufactured waxed cotton and functional wool. The goal was<br />
to create a line of riding and living apparel that offered excellent<br />
riding comfort and protection, without sacrificing everyday wearability<br />
even when you’re not riding. It’s what we consider the new vintage.<br />
The leather we use in our RSD Limited Set leather follows a unique,<br />
exclusive process that ensures a one of a kind, supple, yet extremely<br />
protective result.<br />
1. For the main bodies we use all “A” Grade top grain cowhides that<br />
are tanned, dyed, and oiled. The jacket is then assembled, using all<br />
nylon thread, without the linings or trims.<br />
2. From there the unfinished jacket is washed using our environmentally<br />
safe, proprietary washing process which softens the leather<br />
without losing critical tear, abrasion or tensile strength. Once<br />
washed and air dried (approximately 4 days), the garments then go to<br />
final assembly for linings and trims.<br />
3. Once assembled, each jacket is then hand oiled and waxed, achieving<br />
a unique, “already broken in” custom finish that will wear and<br />
age beautifully, without sacrificing protection.<br />
The RSD Main Set brings a complete offering of riding and everyday apparel<br />
that combines functionality and style in every piece. The leather<br />
we use for our jacketsare all “A” grade cowhides, with light (but not<br />
too much) distressing, ensuring the perfect “just broken in” feel. Classic<br />
lines with a subtle twist make it RSD. We’ve also brought heavy duck<br />
canvas into the mix as functional riding gear, or perfect as everyday<br />
jackets.<br />
The Main Set combines the best of function and style -- just what we<br />
were looking for.<br />
Besides the Main Set jackets, we’ve created a complete line of everyday<br />
apparel with a collection of tees, thermals, hoodies, and headwear,<br />
uniquely RSD. Riding along with the apparel, our grouping of wallets,<br />
belts and travel accessories rounds out the package. Add in our line<br />
of gloves (that provide functional comfort and protection with classic<br />
styling and great fit), and we’ve got you covered.
