THE STAFFORDSHIRE BURIAL INDEX W K <strong>Plant</strong><br />
The Bn-mlngham and Mldland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry have been busy<br />
over the last few years on a gIgantIc task lndexlng burials wlthln the county<br />
of StaffordshIre.<br />
The penod 1813-37 has been completed as the fnst editlon and, allowing for<br />
a number of pre 1813 references whxh have been Included xn the first edltlon,<br />
there are approximately 900 '<strong>Plant</strong>' records. It has been estimated that a<br />
further 800 <strong>Plant</strong> records wll be contained xn the pre 1813 list and publlshed<br />
as the second edltlon.<br />
On behalf of the <strong>Group</strong> I have purchased a copy of the list contaunng <strong>Plant</strong><br />
references and in each Issue of the Journal I ~11 include a section III<br />
Christian name alphabetical order.<br />
