E14 and E3 came together for the biggest olympic weekend<br />
HUNDREDS OF RESIDENTS turned up to<br />
watch history being made, records<br />
broken and British medals won at ‘<strong>Poplar</strong><br />
2012: Screen on the Green’ over a<br />
weekend in early August, this was one of<br />
the only free screenings of the Olympics in<br />
London.<br />
The event held at Langdon<br />
Park was an opportunity for<br />
the local community and<br />
international visitors to<br />
celebrate the most exciting<br />
weekend of the London 2012<br />
Olympics.<br />
A crowd of 1500 people attended<br />
over the two days and included a<br />
mix of the local community and<br />
visitors from as far as Germany,<br />
America and Holland. The<br />
atmosphere was electric despite rain<br />
at some points.<br />
