MCM Marbler 307N lived up to his name in the ASA carcass testing program where his progeny not only
excelled for marbling, but were one of the very best groups ever tested in the program for feed efficiency. His
progeny topped the average of the other sire group contemporaries for efficiency by nearly a pound less feed
required to achieve a pound of gain. With $6 dollar plus corn, that difference becomes more important every
day. 307N is a son of CA Future Direction that was tested genetically free from defects allowing you to use the
proven value of his sire without the challenges associated with using Future Direction himself. The combination of
Black Irish Kansas on the dam side and Future Direction has also created a sire that excels for maternal strength.
You’ll not find many bulls whose daughters can keep up with Marbler females for pounds of calf weaned. The
very popular MCM Top Grade 019X owned by River Creek Farms is an example of what the Marbler daughters
can produce. Marbler is homozygous black and polled and a great choice for outcross SimAngus genetics.
