freeland diamond jubilee fun day The general consensus seems to be that <strong>Freeland</strong> Jubilee Fun Day was a great success it certainly went way beyond our expectations. Many people contributed to the success of the event and we would like to express OUR HEARTFELT THANKS to everyone who helped with setting up and taking down of marquees and exhibitions, putting on events, donating, sponsoring, making and selling items and contributing to the tombola. Above all we would like to thank everyone who came and joined in with all that was on offer. After all without you there would not have been a FUN DAY! The weather also had an important part to play and it was great that the sun came out for us! It is events like this that bring out the true community spirit. Long may it last and we hope there will be many more ideas and events to make use of our wonderful new <strong>Village</strong> Hall. Although the day was not organised as a fund raising event, we have raised £3655.85 for the CRF! 21
