5 Membership Tiers<br />

<strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> offers 5 membership tiers:<br />

• <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Blue (base tier)<br />

• Blue Plus – after accumulation of 5 Tier Points or 7,500 Tier JPMiles in a six month time­frame. Effective<br />

September 11, 2009, Blue Plus tier will be reviewed only for an upgrade and the tier will not change to Blue.<br />

• Three elite tiers – Silver, Gold and the exclusive Platinum – specially created for our most frequent flyers.<br />

The Dynamic Tier Review (DTR)<br />

Unique to <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, DTR is an award winning, multi­period and multi­criteria­based tier review. It has no<br />

precedent anywhere in the world. With DTR, upgrade to the higher tier is quicker and tier renewal is easier. Effective<br />

September 11, 2009, the DTR evaluates a member's tier based on Tier Points and Tier JPMiles.<br />

Tier Points and Tier JPMiles are those earned on flights <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect, <strong>Jet</strong>Lite and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong><br />

code share flights. Also earn additional Tier Points for flights in First Class and Première on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and Konnect<br />

Select on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect.<br />

Tier Upgrade<br />

6­month Fast Track upgrade: On a daily basis, DTR looks at Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in the preceding<br />

180 days; offering faster tier upgrades based on frequency and recency of travel.<br />

12­month Standard upgrade: On a daily basis, DTR also reviews Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in the<br />

preceding 365 days for a tier upgrade.<br />

Effective September 11, 2009, tier upgrade requirement has been revised for faster upgrades:<br />

Tier Renewal<br />

With DTR, tier renewal is easier and more flexible. DTR reviews Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in a 12­month<br />

time frame preceding your tier review date:<br />

• If the 12­month criteria is not met, then the 18­month time frame will be considered<br />

• If the 18­month criteria is not met, then the 24­month time frame will be considered<br />

With each increase in time­frame, the DTR reduces the number of Tier Points and Tier JPMiles, making tier renewal<br />

easier.<br />

Effective September 11, 2009, Blue Plus tier will be reviewed only for an upgrade and the tier will not change to<br />

Blue. And we have further reduced the tier renewal requirement under the 18 and 24 month criteria:<br />

Multiple opportunities to earn JPMiles<br />

Members earn JPMiles when flying on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect, <strong>Jet</strong>Lite, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> codeshare flights and<br />

when availing the services of Programme Partners which include some of the leading names in airlines, hospitality,<br />

finance, entertainment, retail, lifestyle, car rental, telecommunication and publishing.<br />

Members earn Tier Bonus and Cabin Bonus on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> codeshare flights. For<br />

Validity of JPMiles<br />

Like most other loyalty programmes world­wide, JPMiles cannot be held indefinitely by a member. JPMiles are valid<br />

for redemption up to the end of the thirteenth quarter from the quarter in which they were earned.<br />

For example, JPMiles earned in the 1st quarter of 2009 (January­March 2009) will expire on the last day of the 1st<br />

quarter of 2012 (i.e. March 31, 2012). JPMiles that are not redeemed before expiry, will lapse.<br />

Note: JPMiles transferred through the Transfer JPMiles facility will have a validity of 12 months from the date of<br />

transfer irrespective of the original validity prior to transfer. They will expire next year, at the end of the quarter in<br />

which they were transferred. For example, if a Transfer of JPMiles is processed on August 20, 2009, the same will<br />

expire from the recipient's membership account on 30 September 2010.<br />

Tier Bonus<br />

Platinum, Gold and Silver members will earn Tier Bonus of 30%, 20% and 10% respectively on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong><br />

<strong>Airways</strong> Konnect and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> codeshare flights. Tier Bonus does not count towards Tier JPMiles for tier upgrade<br />

and renewal.<br />

Bonus JPMiles on eServices<br />

Members can use e­services when travelling on flights marketed and operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect<br />

and earn JPMiles as follows:<br />

• 500 Bonus JPMiles on e­Ticketing through jetairways.com, Interactive Voice Response ticketing (IVR), Mobile<br />

ticketing or Pay Online System (POS)<br />

• 250 Bonus JPMiles when availing Web check­in, Kiosk check­in or SMS check­in<br />

Earning of these Bonus JPMiles is subject to terms and conditions.


Redemption of JPMiles<br />

On accumulating 3,500 JPMiles and any 2 activities (on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Codeshare,<br />

<strong>Jet</strong>Lite flights and on programme partners, members can start redeeming JPMiles for award tickets on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong><br />

<strong>Airways</strong> Konnect, <strong>Jet</strong>Lite and on Airline Partners.<br />

Members can also take advantage of the following options:<br />

• Purchase JPMiles at the rate of Rs. 1.25 per mile; incase of short of JPMiles for an award ticket.<br />

• Transfer JPMiles from your account to another <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> membership account.<br />

• JPMiles Upgrade (Redeem your JPMiles when holding a revenue ticket and avail of a one­cabin upgrade to<br />

First Class or Première on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> or to Konnect Select on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect. Valid on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and<br />

<strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flights within India and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> International flights only).<br />

Automatic recording of JPMiles<br />

Members must quote their <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> membership number when making bookings on flights and with other<br />

programme partners; present the membership card at check­in to ensure that the activities are recorded<br />

automatically. Members must ensure the name in the booking is exactly as it appears on the <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> membership<br />

card. To view all the activities recorded in the <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> account kindly login to your account and visit the My<br />

Account section. Visit the Claim Missing Miles section to add unrecorded <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> or <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect flights<br />

undertaken within the last six months from current date.<br />

Tele Check­in<br />

<strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum, Gold, Silver and Blue Plus members holding confirmed reservations on flights marketed and<br />

operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect and on flights marketed by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and operated by code share<br />

partners, can call the <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> reservation office to tele check­in.<br />

For travel within India on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect:<br />

• Platinum and Gold members can call between 48 hours and 60 minutes prior to their flight departure<br />

• Silver and Blue Plus members can call between 24 hours and 60 minutes prior to their flight departure<br />

Platinum, Gold, Silver members are required to report at the domestic airport check­in counter no later than 35<br />

minutes and Blue Plus member to report 45 minutes prior to flight departure.<br />

* Please note check­in counters will be closed 30 minutes prior to domestic (within India) flight departure.<br />

For international travel on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>:<br />

• Platinum and Gold members can call between 48 hours and 2 hours prior to their flight departure<br />

Kiosk Check­in<br />

With our new age Kiosks at select airports in India, print the boarding pass at the touch of a screen when travelling<br />

with only hand baggage anytime between 24 hours and 45 minutes prior to flight departure. This facility is available<br />

on flights marketed and operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect.<br />

Earn 250 Bonus JPMiles on eligible classes. Earning of these Bonus JPMiles is subject to terms and conditions.<br />

Web Check­in<br />

Select the preferred seat and also print the boarding pass at jetairways.com when holding confirmed e­ticket and<br />

travelling out of select airports within India. Web check­in is also available when travelling out of Singapore, London,<br />

<strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Credit Card (JACC) upgrade vouchers:<br />

<strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Platinum Credit Cardholders will receive an upgrade voucher:<br />

• On enrolment<br />

• At the time of renewal and<br />

• Every time they earn 8,000 JPMiles through spends on their <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Credit Card.<br />

<strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Titanium Credit Cardholders and CitiBusiness Cardholders will receive an upgrade voucher:<br />

• Every time they earn 10,000 JPMiles through spends on thier <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Credit Card.<br />

How to avail the upgrade facility?<br />

The number of vouchers required for an upgrade per flight, is based on "Traveled Distance" concept with a minimum<br />

of 1 voucher per boarding pass. The number of vouchers needed for an upgrade is directly proportional to the<br />

distance of the flight.<br />

The voucher requirement for a one­way upgrade from Economy to Première / Konnect Select or Première / Konnect<br />

Process for utilizing upgrade vouchers<br />

At Reservations<br />

• Call <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Reservations up to 15 hours prior to <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight departure<br />

• Provide the voucher number(s) and expiry date<br />

• If the seat is available, the upgrade will be confirmed immediately<br />

• If unavailable, the request will be listed for an upgrade at the airport<br />

• The relevant voucher(s) must be presented at the airport check­in on upgrade<br />

Requests for listing can also be made 15 to 2 hours prior to flight departure (domestic), and 15 to 4 hours<br />

(international). However, there could be occasions when Cabin/Special meal may not be available.<br />

At the Airport<br />

• Request for an upgrade at the airport must be made at the check­in counter, before the <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight<br />

closure.<br />

• If the seat is unavailable, the request will be placed on standby and will be subject to availability at the time<br />

of flight closure.


• If the upgrade is confirmed, present relevant voucher(s) at check­in counter.<br />

• If the upgrade is listed, the seat will be confirmed subject to availability at the time of flight closure.<br />

• In case of listing, the seat could be available but the Cabin / Special meal may not be available.<br />

Note:<br />

• Members will be liable for all taxes and other charges associated with travel on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> against upgrade<br />

vouchers ­ including without limitation, airport departure tax, customs fines, immigration fees, airport<br />

charges, customer user fees, fuel surcharges, or any other incidental fees or taxes charged by any person or<br />

relevant authority or body.<br />

• Departure Tax: Differential Airport Departure Tax GBP 40 will be applicable for upgraded travel in Première<br />

and First Class from London Heathrow against upgrade vouchers and JPMiles Upgrade.<br />

• Kosher meal must be requested atleast 48 hours prior to departure<br />

• Fish Sea Food meal must be requested atleast 24 hours prior to departure<br />

• Other Special meals must be requested atleast 12 hours prior to departure<br />

• Upgrade is a one­class upgrade only<br />

• Upgrade vouchers cannot be used against award tickets or wait­listed tickets. Also, these vouchers may not<br />

be used on promotional fares as introduced by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> from time to time. Usage of upgrade vouchers in<br />

such cases will be as per terms and conditions applicable on the specified fare.<br />

• Listing is not a confirmation of seat in the upgraded cabin<br />

• The upgrade is valid on a single, one­way, non­stop <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight<br />

• Platinum members can use their upgrade vouchers on Y, M, T, L, N, Q, U, S, K, H, V, O, W and B classes of<br />

booking<br />

• All other members can use their upgrade vouchers only on Y, M, T, L, N, Q, U, S and K classes of booking<br />

• Upgrade vouchers cannot be used on G class of booking<br />

• Upgrade vouchers can be endorsed in favour of family and friends<br />

• Both elite tier and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Credit Card upgrade vouchers can be used for an upgrade on domestic<br />

and international flights marketed and operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>.<br />

Check­in directly at the <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Première counter by presenting the required upgrade voucher/s (incase the<br />

upgrade is confirmed). A minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure for flights within India and 3 hours prior to<br />

departure for international flights.<br />

Lounge Access<br />

<strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum, Gold, Silver and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Platinum Credit Card holder can relax in select <strong>Jet</strong><br />

<strong>Airways</strong> lounges (where available) while taking a <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight within India. <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum and Gold<br />

members can take along one guest each, travelling with them on the same <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight on the same day. At<br />

airports with multiple lounges, our Guest Service staff will assist you to the appropriate lounge.<br />

Lounge access at domestic airports is as follows:<br />

Celebrating the First Anniversary of <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect with Lounge Invitation to our select <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong><br />

members when they fly on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect or <strong>Jet</strong>Lite, between now and July 31, 2010.<br />

Invitation is open only to a select few:<br />

Konnect and <strong>Jet</strong>Lite marketed and operated flights.<br />

For international travel on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong><br />

<strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum and Gold members can access lounge at select international airports, at the time of departure<br />

or while in transit to board a <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> marketed and operated flight.<br />

At airports where there are multiple lounges, in the interest of optimum utilization of lounge and to ensure least<br />

inconvenience to our Guests; the Guest Services Team will assist with the appropriate lounge.<br />

At international airports (excluding London Heathrow)<br />

• <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum and Gold members travelling in First Class or Première can invite one accompanying<br />

guest to the Lounge<br />

• The accompanying guest accessing the lounge with <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum or Gold member must be traveling<br />

on the same <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> flight, on the same day, as the member<br />

• When booked to travel in Economy, <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent<br />

flyer lounge, self only i.e. no guests allowed<br />

• <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent flyer lounge<br />

• First Class and Première guests traveling on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> can access the First Class and Premiere lounges<br />

Konnect and <strong>Jet</strong>Lite on domestic sectors within India. Request for confirmation must be made at least 24 hours<br />

before flight departure against full­fare revenue (Y/M class on <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect and W/Y class on<br />

<strong>Jet</strong>Lite) Economy ticket.<br />

*While we do our utmost to provide the reservation guarantee, there may be occasions during the year when

Check­in at Première counters<br />

On flights marketed and operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> and <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect:<br />

• Platinum, Gold and Silver members can check­in at the Première counters, even when traveling in Economy.<br />

• <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Citibank Platinum Credit cardholders can avail of this facility only at domestic airports in India.<br />

On Airline Partners, Gulf Air and KLM: Platinum, Gold and Silver members can check in at Business or First Class<br />

counters, irrespective of class of travel.<br />

Cancellation fees waived on published fares<br />

Exclusively for <strong><strong>Jet</strong>Privilege</strong> Platinum members on flights marketed and operated by <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong>, <strong>Jet</strong> <strong>Airways</strong> Konnect<br />

and <strong>Jet</strong>Lite* on domestic sectors within India.<br />

The waiver includes cancellation charges levied on tickets issued against a revenue published fare towards:<br />

• Revalidation of the ticket<br />

• Refund of the ticket<br />

• Reissue of the ticket<br />

The waiver does not include:<br />

• Check fares, Non­refundable tickets<br />

• No Show and Gate No Show charges<br />

Baggage tags<br />

Priority Standby<br />

Platinum, Gold and Silver members travelling on a waitlisted ticket, enjoy the highest priority status in the order of<br />

their tier status, at the time of flight closure, as per check­in procedures. Applicable on flights marketed and<br />
