5 Membership Tiers 

JetPrivilege offers 5 membership tiers: 

• JetPrivilege Blue (base tier) 

• Blue Plus – after accumulation of 5 Tier Points or 7,500 Tier JPMiles in a six month timeframe. Effective 

September 11, 2009, Blue Plus tier will be reviewed only for an upgrade and the tier will not change to Blue. 

• Three elite tiers – Silver, Gold and the exclusive Platinum – specially created for our most frequent flyers. 

The Dynamic Tier Review (DTR) 

Unique to Jet Airways, DTR is an award winning, multiperiod and multicriteriabased tier review. It has no 

precedent anywhere in the world. With DTR, upgrade to the higher tier is quicker and tier renewal is easier. Effective 

September 11, 2009, the DTR evaluates a member's tier based on Tier Points and Tier JPMiles. 

Tier Points and Tier JPMiles are those earned on flights Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite and Jet Airways 

code share flights. Also earn additional Tier Points for flights in First Class and Première on Jet Airways and Konnect 

Select on Jet Airways Konnect.

Cabin Bonus: JetPrivilege Platinum members earn 125% of Base JPMiles for travel on Jet Airways in First Class and

6month Fast Track upgrade: On a daily basis, DTR looks at Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in the preceding 

180 days; offering faster tier upgrades based on frequency and recency of travel. 

12month Standard upgrade: On a daily basis, DTR also reviews Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in the 

preceding 365 days for a tier upgrade. 

Effective September 11, 2009, tier upgrade requirement has been revised for faster upgrades:

Tier Renewal 

With DTR, tier renewal is easier and more flexible. DTR reviews Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned in a 12month 

time frame preceding your tier review date: 

• If the 12month criteria is not met, then the 18month time frame will be considered 

• If the 18month criteria is not met, then the 24month time frame will be considered 

With each increase in timeframe, the DTR reduces the number of Tier Points and Tier JPMiles, making tier renewal 

easier. 

Effective September 11, 2009, Blue Plus tier will be reviewed only for an upgrade and the tier will not change to 

Blue. And we have further reduced the tier renewal requirement under the 18 and 24 month criteria:

Multiple opportunities to earn JPMiles 

Members earn JPMiles when flying on Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite, Jet Airways codeshare flights and 

when availing the services of Programme Partners which include some of the leading names in airlines, hospitality, 

finance, entertainment, retail, lifestyle, car rental, telecommunication and publishing. 

Members earn Tier Bonus and Cabin Bonus on Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and Jet Airways codeshare flights. For

Validity of JPMiles 

Like most other loyalty programmes worldwide, JPMiles cannot be held indefinitely by a member. JPMiles are valid 

for redemption up to the end of the thirteenth quarter from the quarter in which they were earned. 

For example, JPMiles earned in the 1st quarter of 2009 (JanuaryMarch 2009) will expire on the last day of the 1st 

quarter of 2012 (i.e. March 31, 2012). JPMiles that are not redeemed before expiry, will lapse. 

Note: JPMiles transferred through the Transfer JPMiles facility will have a validity of 12 months from the date of 

transfer irrespective of the original validity prior to transfer. They will expire next year, at the end of the quarter in 

which they were transferred. For example, if a Transfer of JPMiles is processed on August 20, 2009, the same will 

expire from the recipient's membership account on 30 September 2010. 

Tier Bonus 

Platinum, Gold and Silver members will earn Tier Bonus of 30%, 20% and 10% respectively on Jet Airways, Jet 

Airways Konnect and Jet Airways codeshare flights. Tier Bonus does not count towards Tier JPMiles for tier upgrade 

and renewal. 

Bonus JPMiles on eServices 

Members can use eservices when travelling on flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect 

and earn JPMiles as follows: 

• 500 Bonus JPMiles on eTicketing through jetairways.com, Interactive Voice Response ticketing (IVR), Mobile 

ticketing or Pay Online System (POS) 

• 250 Bonus JPMiles when availing Web checkin, Kiosk checkin or SMS checkin 

Earning of these Bonus JPMiles is subject to terms and conditions.

Redemption of JPMiles 

On accumulating 3,500 JPMiles and any 2 activities (on Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect, Jet Airways Codeshare, 

JetLite flights and on programme partners, members can start redeeming JPMiles for award tickets on Jet Airways, Jet 

Airways Konnect, JetLite and on Airline Partners. 

Members can also take advantage of the following options: 

• Purchase JPMiles at the rate of Rs. 1.25 per mile; incase of short of JPMiles for an award ticket. 

• Transfer JPMiles from your account to another JetPrivilege membership account. 

• JPMiles Upgrade (Redeem your JPMiles when holding a revenue ticket and avail of a onecabin upgrade to 

First Class or Première on Jet Airways or to Konnect Select on Jet Airways Konnect. Valid on Jet Airways and 

Jet Airways flights within India and Jet Airways International flights only). 

• Cash Upgrade (Upgrade Jet Airways Economy award ticket to Première or a Jet Airways Konnect award ticket 

to Jet airways Konnect Select with cash. Valid on Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect flights within India 

only).

Automatic recording of JPMiles 

Members must quote their JetPrivilege membership number when making bookings on flights and with other 

programme partners; present the membership card at checkin to ensure that the activities are recorded 

automatically. Members must ensure the name in the booking is exactly as it appears on the JetPrivilege membership 

card. To view all the activities recorded in the JetPrivilege account kindly login to your account and visit the My 

Account section. Visit the Claim Missing Miles section to add unrecorded Jet Airways or Jet Airways Konnect flights 

undertaken within the last six months from current date. 

For any missing partner activities, please contact the JetPrivilege Service Centre with relevant proof of activity (i.e. 

original or clear photo copy) of: 

• Ticket and boarding pass for Airline Partners 

• Invoices for NonAirline Partners 

Tele Checkin 

JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold, Silver and Blue Plus members holding confirmed reservations on flights marketed and 

operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect and on flights marketed by Jet Airways and operated by code share 

partners, can call the Jet Airways reservation office to tele checkin. 

For travel within India on Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect: 

• Platinum and Gold members can call between 48 hours and 60 minutes prior to their flight departure 

• Silver and Blue Plus members can call between 24 hours and 60 minutes prior to their flight departure 

Platinum, Gold, Silver members are required to report at the domestic airport checkin counter no later than 35 

minutes and Blue Plus member to report 45 minutes prior to flight departure. 

* Please note checkin counters will be closed 30 minutes prior to domestic (within India) flight departure. 

For international travel on Jet Airways: 

• Platinum and Gold members can call between 48 hours and 2 hours prior to their flight departure 

• Silver and Blue Plus members can call between 24 hours and 4 hours prior to their flight departure 

All tele checkedin members must report at the airport checkin counter not later than 65 minutes before flight 

departure. 

Please note checkin counters will be closed 60 minutes prior to departure for international flights. Tele Checkin at

London Heathrow is available only to JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members. 

Kiosk Checkin 

With our new age Kiosks at select airports in India, print the boarding pass at the touch of a screen when travelling 

with only hand baggage anytime between 24 hours and 45 minutes prior to flight departure. This facility is available 

on flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect. 

Earn 250 Bonus JPMiles on eligible classes. Earning of these Bonus JPMiles is subject to terms and conditions. 

Web Checkin 

Select the preferred seat and also print the boarding pass at jetairways.com when holding confirmed eticket and 

travelling out of select airports within India. Web checkin is also available when travelling out of Singapore, London, 

Brussels, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, Colombo, Doha and Dhaka. This facility is available on 

flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect.

Enjoy a onecabin upgrade to Première or First Class, when booked to travel on Jet Airways in Economy or Première 

or to Konnect Select, when booked to travel on Jet Airways Konnect in Economy respectively by using the Elite or 

JACC upgrade voucher/s. 

Elite tier upgrade vouchers 

JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver members will be awarded with 5, 3 and 1 elite tier upgrade voucher(s) 

respectively when the Tier Points/Tier JPMiles required for a tier upgrade or renewal is completed. In case of tier 

status changing to a lower tier, upgrade voucher(s) will be awarded as per the Tier Points and Tier JPMiles earned for 

either Gold or Silver tier renewal. 

Jet Airways Citibank Credit Card (JACC) upgrade vouchers: 

Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit Cardholders will receive an upgrade voucher: 

• On enrolment 

• At the time of renewal and 

• Every time they earn 8,000 JPMiles through spends on their Jet Airways Citibank Credit Card. 

Jet Airways Citibank Titanium Credit Cardholders and CitiBusiness Cardholders will receive an upgrade voucher: 

• Every time they earn 10,000 JPMiles through spends on thier Jet Airways Citibank Credit Card. 

How to avail the upgrade facility? 

The number of vouchers required for an upgrade per flight, is based on "Traveled Distance" concept with a minimum 

of 1 voucher per boarding pass. The number of vouchers needed for an upgrade is directly proportional to the 

distance of the flight. 

The voucher requirement for a oneway upgrade from Economy to Première / Konnect Select or Première / Konnect 

Select to First Class is as below:

Process for utilizing upgrade vouchers 

At Reservations 

• Call Jet Airways Reservations up to 15 hours prior to Jet Airways flight departure 

• Provide the voucher number(s) and expiry date 

• If the seat is available, the upgrade will be confirmed immediately 

• If unavailable, the request will be listed for an upgrade at the airport 

• The relevant voucher(s) must be presented at the airport checkin on upgrade 

Requests for listing can also be made 15 to 2 hours prior to flight departure (domestic), and 15 to 4 hours 

(international). However, there could be occasions when Cabin/Special meal may not be available. 

At the Airport 

• Request for an upgrade at the airport must be made at the checkin counter, before the Jet Airways flight 

closure. 

• If the seat is unavailable, the request will be placed on standby and will be subject to availability at the time 

of flight closure.

• If the upgrade is confirmed, present relevant voucher(s) at checkin counter. 

• If the upgrade is listed, the seat will be confirmed subject to availability at the time of flight closure. 

• In case of listing, the seat could be available but the Cabin / Special meal may not be available. 

Note: 

• Members will be liable for all taxes and other charges associated with travel on Jet Airways against upgrade 

vouchers including without limitation, airport departure tax, customs fines, immigration fees, airport 

charges, customer user fees, fuel surcharges, or any other incidental fees or taxes charged by any person or 

relevant authority or body. 

• Departure Tax: Differential Airport Departure Tax GBP 40 will be applicable for upgraded travel in Première 

and First Class from London Heathrow against upgrade vouchers and JPMiles Upgrade. 

• Kosher meal must be requested atleast 48 hours prior to departure 

• Fish Sea Food meal must be requested atleast 24 hours prior to departure 

• Other Special meals must be requested atleast 12 hours prior to departure 

• Upgrade is a oneclass upgrade only 

• Upgrade vouchers cannot be used against award tickets or waitlisted tickets. Also, these vouchers may not 

be used on promotional fares as introduced by Jet Airways from time to time. Usage of upgrade vouchers in 

such cases will be as per terms and conditions applicable on the specified fare. 

• Listing is not a confirmation of seat in the upgraded cabin 

• The upgrade is valid on a single, oneway, nonstop Jet Airways flight 

• Platinum members can use their upgrade vouchers on Y, M, T, L, N, Q, U, S, K, H, V, O, W and B classes of 

booking 

• All other members can use their upgrade vouchers only on Y, M, T, L, N, Q, U, S and K classes of booking 

• Upgrade vouchers cannot be used on G class of booking 

• Upgrade vouchers can be endorsed in favour of family and friends 

• Both elite tier and Jet Airways Citibank Credit Card upgrade vouchers can be used for an upgrade on domestic 

and international flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways. 

Checkin directly at the Jet Airways Première counter by presenting the required upgrade voucher/s (incase the 

upgrade is confirmed). A minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure for flights within India and 3 hours prior to 

departure for international flights. 

Upgrade vouchers are governed by the terms and conditions. 

Lounge Access 

For domestic travel within India 

On Jet Airways 

JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold, Silver and Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit Card holder can relax in select Jet 

Airways lounges (where available) while taking a Jet Airways flight within India. JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold 

members can take along one guest each, travelling with them on the same Jet Airways flight on the same day. At 

airports with multiple lounges, our Guest Service staff will assist you to the appropriate lounge. 

Lounge access at domestic airports is as follows: 

• JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver members can access the lounge 

• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members can invite one accompanying guest each to the lounge 

• Jet Airways Citibank Platinum credit cardholders and guests booked to travel in Première, on Jet Airways, can 

also access the lounge 

• Lounge access will be offered at the departure airport, wherever available, when flying on Jet Airways 

marketed and operated flights 

• Guest accessing Lounge with JetPrivilege Platinum or Gold member must be traveling on the same Jet 

Airways marketed and operated flight on the same day 

• Lounge access will also not be available when the original Jet Airways flight has been cancelled or rerouted

to a Jet Airways Konnect flight 

• For intransit JetPrivilege members, the lounge access will be offered only if the onward journey is on a Jet 

Airways marketed and operated flight 

• Lounge access will be available to all guests at departure airport when travelling on Jet Airways Konnect 

Select. 

• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members travelling in Konnect Select cabin, can access lounges at departure 

airport along with one guest. The guest should be travelling on the same Jet Airways Konnect flight, on the 

same day. 

On Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite and Jet Airways codeshare flights with JetLite 

• Lounge access will be available to Guests travelling on Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite or Jet Airways codeshare 

flights with JetLite with immediate onward connection to a Jet Airways international flight in Première or First 

Class 

• On arrival into India on a Jet Airways' international flight in Première or First Class, Guests can access 

lounge, at the first point of entry, when the onward connection is on a Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite or Jet 

Airways codeshare flights with JetLite 

• Lounge access will not be available when booked to travel on domestic Jet Airways Konnect identifiable under 

flight series no 9W 2000 and 9W 2999 and on JetLite flights 

• Lounge access will be available to all guests at departure airport when travelling on Jet Airways Konnect 

Select. 

Celebrating the First Anniversary of Jet Airways Konnect with Lounge Invitation to our select JetPrivilege 

members when they fly on Jet Airways Konnect or JetLite, between now and July 31, 2010. 

Invitation is open only to a select few: 

• JetPrivilege Platinum members + 1 guest travelling on the same Jet Airways Konnect or JetLite flight 

• JetPrivilege Gold members (self only) 

• Jet Airways Citibank Credit Platinum Card holders (self only) 

At airports with multiple lounges, our Guests Service staff to assist with appropriate lounge, as is done when flying 

on Jet Airways. Lounge access will be offered at the departure airport, where available, when flying on Jet Airways 

Konnect and JetLite marketed and operated flights. 

For international travel on Jet Airways 

JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members can access lounge at select international airports, at the time of departure 

or while in transit to board a Jet Airways marketed and operated flight. 

At airports where there are multiple lounges, in the interest of optimum utilization of lounge and to ensure least 

inconvenience to our Guests; the Guest Services Team will assist with the appropriate lounge. 

At international airports (excluding London Heathrow) 

• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members travelling in First Class or Première can invite one accompanying 

guest to the Lounge 

• The accompanying guest accessing the lounge with JetPrivilege Platinum or Gold member must be traveling 

on the same Jet Airways flight, on the same day, as the member 

• When booked to travel in Economy, JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent 

flyer lounge, self only i.e. no guests allowed 

• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent flyer lounge 

• First Class and Première guests traveling on Jet Airways can access the First Class and Premiere lounges 

respectively, at select airports. At the other airports, our Guest Service staff will assist with the appropriate 

lounge 

At London Heathrow

• JetPrivilege Platinum members travelling in First Class or Première can invite one accompanying guest to the 

Lounge 

• JetPrivilege Gold members travelling in First Class or Première can invite one accompanying guest. However 

the accompanying guest must be booked on Jet Airways in Economy K class of travel and above 

• The accompanying guest accessing the lounge with JetPrivilege Platinum or Gold member must be traveling 

on the same Jet Airways flight, on the same day, as the member 

• When booked to travel in Economy, JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent 

flyer lounge, self only i.e. no guests allowed 

• First Class and Première guests traveling on Jet Airways can access the First Class and Premiere lounges 

respectively, at select airports. At the other airports, our Guest Service staff will assist the guests to the 

appropriate lounge

Guaranteed reservation up to 24 hours before departure 

JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members enjoy a guaranteed reservation* in Economy on Jet Airways, Jet Airways 

Konnect and JetLite on domestic sectors within India. Request for confirmation must be made at least 24 hours 

before flight departure against fullfare revenue (Y/M class on Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect and W/Y class on 

JetLite) Economy ticket. 

*While we do our utmost to provide the reservation guarantee, there may be occasions during the year when

exceptional demand on specific routes would render us unable to fulfill this.

Checkin at Première counters 

On flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect: 

• Platinum, Gold and Silver members can checkin at the Première counters, even when traveling in Economy. 

• Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit cardholders can avail of this facility only at domestic airports in India. 

On Airline Partners, Gulf Air and KLM: Platinum, Gold and Silver members can check in at Business or First Class 

counters, irrespective of class of travel. 

Cancellation fees waived on published fares 

Exclusively for JetPrivilege Platinum members on flights marketed and operated by Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect 

and JetLite* on domestic sectors within India. 

The waiver includes cancellation charges levied on tickets issued against a revenue published fare towards: 

• Revalidation of the ticket 

• Refund of the ticket 

• Reissue of the ticket 

The waiver does not include: 

• Check fares, Nonrefundable tickets 

• No Show and Gate No Show charges 

To avail of this benefit, JetPrivilege Platinum membership number must be updated at the time of making the 

bookings on Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and JetLite.

Priority tagging of baggage 

Platinum and Gold members get Priority baggage tags for their baggage on flights marketed and operated by Jet 

Airways and Jet Airways Konnect. On Airline Partner, Gulf Air: Platinum, Gold and Silver members enjoy priority 

baggage handling. 

Baggage tags 

Platinum, Gold and Silver members will receive 2 baggage tags each on completion of tier upgrade/renewal criteria. 

Priority Standby 

Platinum, Gold and Silver members travelling on a waitlisted ticket, enjoy the highest priority status in the order of 

their tier status, at the time of flight closure, as per checkin procedures. Applicable on flights marketed and 

operated by Jet Airways and Jet Airways Konnect.
