Show <strong>2011</strong> is break<strong>in</strong>g new ground on the cultural front, as well.<br />

<strong>Koblenz</strong> has witnessed over 2000 years of history which is still evident<br />

today <strong>in</strong> many of the town’s historic build<strong>in</strong>gs. The BUGA is present<strong>in</strong>g<br />

these <strong>in</strong> an entirely new light and forg<strong>in</strong>g aesthetic l<strong>in</strong>ks with the<br />

modern age, one example be<strong>in</strong>g the spectacular aerial cable car<br />

which spans a distance of 850 metres and offers breathtak<strong>in</strong>g views<br />

of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rh<strong>in</strong>e Valley”.<br />

How to f<strong>in</strong>d us<br />

The BUGA <strong>Koblenz</strong> <strong>2011</strong> is easily reached by air from the nearby<br />

airports at Hahn, Frankfurt/Ma<strong>in</strong> and Cologne and there are also<br />

excellent rail connections. If <strong>you</strong> are com<strong>in</strong>g by coach or car there<br />

is easy access via the motorways A 48, A 61 and A 3.<br />
