ESP Digital Camo Waterproof Hoody
This is an item of waterproof
clothing which is a little bit
different to the norm and has
received plenty of positive
comments already. ESP is the
first company to use the new
digital camo pattern, as used
by the US army, on dedicated
angling clothing.
Incorporating three colours
(two greens and a brown) the
pattern has been designed
to complement European
foliage. It is a far more effective
camouflage than standard
patterns because it mimics the
dappled textures and rough
boundaries found in natural
settings. This is caused by how
the human eye interacts with
pixelated images.
The ESP digital camo pattern
works incredibly well in practice
and this waterproof hoody is
the forerunner to a wider range
of clothing using this pattern.
The pullover hoody is quilted
and very warm without being
heavy and cumbersome. It
incorporates a well fitted,
peaked hood with adjustable
drawstrings, a short zip with
Velcro waterproof baffle and a
large fully zipped chest pocket.
Other features are cosy, fleece
lined hand warmer pockets and
elasticated cuffs.
Most angling clothing
has a standard 5000ml
waterproof/3000ml breathability
rating. So you’ll be
pleasantly surprised to
know that this new digital
camo hoody has a
waterproof rating
of 25,000ml and
a breathability
rating of
10,000ml.
