Thread roll attachments are available for use in the second, third and fourth positions. Each <strong>of</strong> these attachments<br />
operates on the same principle. Mounted on a slide, two thread rolls equipped with a compensating device are<br />
fed to the center <strong>of</strong> the work. When the rolls are positioned properly, they are fed into the work piece radially,<br />
completing the thread rolling operation. Because the rolls are on the center <strong>of</strong> the work, there is no side pressure<br />
applied to the spindles during the thread rolling process.<br />
Thread sizes within the capacity <strong>of</strong> the machine, and up to eleven sixteenths <strong>of</strong> an inch wide, can be rolled using<br />
standard thread rolling attachments.<br />
