CABINET FINGER SEALS
POLYCARBONATE FINGER SEALS
Low cost polycarbonate finger seals offer good resistance to tearing and abrasive wear along with reversal of work
capability with proper flex point work clearance. A minimum clearance of one foot from the work to the seal flex point
is required to avoid significant breakage problems.
URETHANE FINGER SEALS
Constructed of solid 80-90 durometer urethane, our new finger
seal has excellent flexibility and memory, which allows this seal
to provide over twice the service life of a standard polycarbonate
seal. The flexibility helps avoid the snapping or breaking
problem, while the memory characteristic keeps the seals
straight and closed. The high durometer material is specially
compounded to resist abrasive wear and heat. All features
considered, the new product is the best value for our customers,
capable of thousands of hours of service life.
CABINET FINGER SEAL
Pass thru type monorail or structural machines use various types of finger seals for the cabinet and vestibule
openings. These finger seals act as containment devices for abrasive, while allowing parts and ventilation air to
enter the blast cabinet. The finger seals shown below, in several sizes and materials, are typical of those used in
