Digital library development and digital content<br />
sharing are one of important applications that<br />
VinaREN facilitates and greatly fosters.<br />
Domestic research database and online international<br />
scholar resources can be exchanged and shared on the<br />
VinaREN that allow R&E communities access to and<br />
use proactively.<br />
International Connections<br />
VinaREN has been internationally connected to <strong>TEIN3</strong><br />
(Hanoi - Hong Kong) with a bandwidth of 45 Mbps<br />
initially and of 155 Mbps actually. Through this<br />
connection, VinaREN has connections to GEANT,<br />
Internet 2 and APAN.<br />
In 2011, VinaREN cooperated with Viettel company to<br />
establish tblih100 100 Mb Mbps connection ti ffor CCamREN, REN iincluding l di 10<br />
Mbps to <strong>TEIN3</strong> via VinaREN.<br />
40 Mbps of commercial Internet for access to online data<br />
bases and journals<br />
