Terms and Conditions:
Prospective candidates for the position of teaching assistant in the field of design at the State
Higher Vocational School in Tarnów are required to have at least the title of magister (Master
of Arts).
Additional conditions for the position include:
• knowledge and work experience in the field of designing functional art forms
• modelling, handling various types of machinery and equipment as well as knowledge
of selected design technologies
• knowledge of graphics software
• teaching abilities and experience in running art and design classes with the young
• knowledge of the Polish language
Candidates must submit the following documents:
1. Application for the post under competition addressed to the Rector.
The application should include the following insertion: “Hereby I consent to the processing of
my personal data included in my job application for the needs of the recruitment process”
(pursuant to the Act on Protection of Personal Data of 29 August 1997, Journal of Laws,
2002, No. 101, pos. 926 as amended).
2. Curriculum vitae including work experience.
3. Personal questionnaire.
4. Documents confirming professional qualifications.

5. A list of scientific achievements of the candidate.
6. A list of didactic achievements of the candidate.
7. A statement that the State Higher Vocational School in Tarnów will or will not be the
primary work-place of the candidate within the meaning of the Higher Education Act.
8. Information on the intention of taking up additional employment.
Place and date of submission of documents:
Documents are to be submitted in the Office of the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and
Development (Room A116) of the State Higher Vocational School in Tarnów, ul.
Mickiewicza 8, 33-100 Tarnów, until 25 October 2012.
The competition is due to be decided by 26 October 2012.
Rector has the right to waive the job candidate selected by the selection board.
