Explanation for Table 2
Table 2 gives the enrichment above rock crustal abundance (Krauskopf, 1967) for
selected percentiles of the chalcophile, siderophile, and lithophile eltmcnts in the
Petersburg study area, Alaska. Enrichment above rock crustal abundance was
determined by dividing average crustal abundance taken from Krauskopf (1967) and
dividing that into the actual concentration values computed for stlccted percentiles.

The crustal abundance column heading values for Fe, hl g, Ca, and Ti are reported in
percent, all other values are in parts per million.
