The Great Lakes Region – Civil Society Forum Coordination Bureau.
Representatives of CSO/NGOs from the eleven member states met in Nairobi on the
margins of the Second Summit of the Heads of State and Government and ushered into
office a Regional Coordinating Committee of eleven member countries, supported by a
functional Regional Bureau of six countries to carry out the day operations of the
programme of actions for CSO/NGOs.
The Regional Bureau is constituted as follows:
1 Mr Sylvstre Kambaza – President ( Democratic Republic of Congo )
2 Four Vice Presidents as follows;
- Mr Joseph Waryoba Butiku – Vice President, Democracy and Good
Governance
- M/s Marie Immaculée Ingabire – Vice President , Peace and Security (
Republic of Rwanda )
- Mr. Maitre Lambert Zokoezo – Vice President , Economic Development
and Regional Integration ( Central African Republic )
- Mr. Tarig A. Fattah Moh – Vice President , Humanitarian and Social
Issues ( Republic of Sudan )
- Mr. Joseph Chilengi – Secretary General ( Republic of Zambia )
