Five texts are a question only of translation: Mt 24:41, Lk 17:35, 1Co 15:24, 2Ths 2:9, and 1Jo 3:16.
In all five passages the Authorized Version of 1611 (KJV) inserts the words in italics; it means they
are not specifically found in the Greek, but in the translators’ best (though admittedly imperfect)
judgment these extra words are implied (or at least clarify the meaning).
