The Theme’s built-in heat exchanger
generates convection currents of hot air
which flow into the room to boost the
normal radiant heat output. This fuelefficient
feature makes full use of warmth
that would normally be lost up the chimney,
so you get more comfort for less money.

The Theme Turboflue
No chimney? – No problem!
The Turboflue is the modern alternative to a traditional
chimney, providing an equally safe discharge of
combustion products.
An automatic electro-mechanical fan flue system
conducts these through the exterior wall of your home
into a fan housing outside. This fan features a smoothrunning
motor with ample unstrained power and
precision long-life bearings for unobtrusive reliability.
If you wish, the fan can be discreetly
ducted up to nine metres away from
the fire.
Precise control of the fire and
Turboflue is simple with the patented
Straxgas Turbotouch Control.

Strength
The internal fire body, including entire
heat exchanger, is 3mm thick plate steel.
Durability
The heat exchanger tubes can
withstand intense heat and direct
flame, decades after cheaper
components would have burnt through.
Welding
The individual plates are robot welded to
ensure there are no weak spots which
arise when metal is folded. The air-tight
welding is tested to ensure there is no
leakage in the heat exchanger.
Efficiency
The integral heat exchanger boosts the
normal radiant heat output and, by
convection, increases the efficiency of the fire.

Smooth operation
Robust cantilever slide control system which
never needs adjustment – as opposed to a
cable system which may be unreliable and
need continual maintenance.
Choice
Fully variable aeration of flame picture
(NG) which allows choice of coal or coke.
Quality
Finger frets are carefully assembled by craftsmen
employing traditional skills. Twin injectors on 22”
models ensure flame distribution across the bed,
efficient use of gas and quiet operation.
Safety
The fires incorporate a range of built-in features to provide the highest level of safety
and complete peace of mind.
An oxygen depletion sensor constantly monitors oxygen levels in the room and
checks for the presence of a pilot light. Should the oxygen level in the room drop or
the pilot be extinguished the gas to the fire is automatically cut off.
A pressure switch on the turboflue cuts off the gas if the fan stops running and
two gas valves cut off independently in the event of any malfunction.
All Straxgas fires and burners undergo stringent testing to meet CE standards.
