7.0 Warranty:<br />

Standard warranty to be completed and supplied at time of delivery. Vendor must<br />

specify warranty (minimum 12 month parts and labor) for each component. WMATA<br />

requires verification of delayed OEM warranties at time of delivery. Warranty on<br />

vehicle and components will start at time of acceptance. See Special Provision No. 12<br />

(Warranty) for additional warranty provisions.<br />

8.0 Delivery: 180 days after receipt of order. All vehicles, manuals, and other deliverables<br />

shall be delivered to the following address:<br />

**Note: Please notify Sterling Brown at (202) 962-5649 at least 24 hours prior to delivery. All<br />

vehicles must be delivered between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.<br />

9.0 Training:<br />

When purchases of materials or equipment are made by WMATA, the supplier or vendor<br />

is responsible for providing:<br />

a. Training in the maintenance and operation of the contracted item(s).<br />

b. Training materials sufficient to support continued in-house WMATA training.<br />

c. Updated training and training materials when, in the scope of the contract, changes or<br />

modifications are made that affect the operation or maintenance of the item(s)<br />

contracted for.<br />

d. Training for the <strong>Detachable</strong> <strong>Gooseneck</strong> <strong>Lowboy</strong> <strong>Trailer</strong> will require a minimum of<br />

four (4) hours; two (2) hours for operations and two (2) hours for maintenance.<br />

e. All training, as described below, shall take place by the vendor prior to acceptance of<br />

equipment or materials by WMATA. Operations and maintenance training may take<br />

place as a combined class by agreement of the Department of Technical Training and<br />

Document Control (TTDC). The minimum number of WMATA employees to be trained<br />

will be ten (10) for operations training and ten (10) for maintenance training.<br />
