collar chain, made of segments of alternating lions of England, Maltese crosses and the ciphers SM and<br />
SG, in silver-gilt and enamel, and collar badge, a seven-pointed star bearing images of St Michael with<br />
legend surrounding, rev the same but bearing an image of St George, in silver-gilt and enamels, with<br />
portion of original sash. Star with some evidence of wear, including a little loss of gilding and a small chip to<br />
the reverse legend, collar chain with a little scuffing, otherwise good very fine. £4000-5000
