Description
The Disconnector cubicle type DIACLAD is mounted between the Rectifier unit and the Feeder cubicles.
It is suitable for indoor installation in DC traction substations systems such as Tramways, Metros and
Trolleybuses and is designed and manufactured according to EN 50123 & IEC 61992 standards.
The main feature of the incoming cubicle is to allow access to the rectifier for the inspection and
maintenance while the DC section is in operation.
The cubicle is composed of three separate compartments:
• withdrawable or fixed Disconnector Switch compartment
• low voltage compartment complete of control and measuring devices (e.g. reverse current relay “32”,
earthing relay “64”, metering instruments, PLC and communication to SCADA...)
• bus-bar compartment where are allocated the main incoming busbar, the connection for outgoing
cables and the shunt for current measure.
