ABSTRACT 

This paper gives an account of the fungal flora from the Andaman and Nicobar 

Islands in the Bay of Bengal. 103 fungal taxa belonging to 52 genera of the groups 

Zygomycetes (3), Hymenomycetes (25), Gastromycetes (1), Ascomycetes (16), 

~ . Hyphomycetes (51) and Coelomycetes (7) are <strong>report</strong>ed.
