Chrysops impunctus Krober Length: 5-8mm. Treated in Teskey (1990) as a var. of C. geminatus but Burger (1995) listed it as a distinct species. Apical spot and crossband slightly more extensive than C. geminatus; 1 st and 2 nd tergites yellow. In Canada known only from the type locality of Port Stanley, Ontario. Abdomen plate.
