Why LED’s?
• Efficiency - LED’s consume 50% - 90% less power than conventional bulbs
• Longevity - A lifespan of 50,000 hours means you won’t change a bulb for years
• Environmental - LED’s do not contain mercury & are made of recyclable materials
• Quality - LED’s offer light with unnoticeable lumen deterioration
• Color - LED bulbs can produce a color very similar to incandescent bulbs
• Safety / Heat - LED’s produce up to 90% less heat than incandescent bulbs
Why LED Phosphor from GTP?
• GTP offers a wide range of YAG phosphor with superior performance
History of Global Tungsten & Powders:
GTP has been on the cutting edge of phosphor development
and production for nearly 100 years. Beginning
in 1916 as the Towanda Phosphor Works,
GTP first produced phosphor for X-Ray intensifying
screens. In 1936, GTP started producing phosphor for
fluorescent lamps, followed by television phosphors,
EL phosphor, UV phosphor and now LED phosphor.
