The main challenge is for better and more comprehensive implementation (Kenzer,1999). In the words of John Ashton, in calling for a championing of a community based approach to health, ‘A new vision for cities and city regions as part of a global community was part of Healthy Cities’ thinking in 1988; it could be the driver for change we so desperately need’ (Ashton, J.R., 2009).
