A lounge chair with a tight back and seat. A butterknife arm detail is repeated on the back. Square cabriole leg.
From the 1940s, this is a reinterpretation of French styles of another era. While graceful, it is just as surely a very generous seat with room for a pet or a few books.
More casual than couture. Readily used as either a lounge or conversation chair.
