Dear Friends: NEW YORK STATE ASSEMBLY March 9, 2012 Please accept my sincerest greetings as you gather to celebrate Stuyvesant High School’s 9 th Annual Spring Feast Dinner. Throughout its distinguished history, Stuyvesant High School has been a source of pride in the community, an institution with a strong commitment to providing its students with a high quality education. Stuyvesant High School has over 3,000 students from all five boroughs reflecting the diversity of the City, and you are consistently recognized for your academic excellence, numerous achievements and innovative programs. Of special note is your more than 100 years of history and tradition, and your academic distinction throughout the City. Tonight’s celebration is a commitment and a tribute to the hopes and aspirations of the students. While raising funds to support education and provide services to students as they prepare for college, this event brings together school and community for the sake of the students. Everyone associated with this event should be proud of the school’s record of achievements, and I am honored to have this opportunity to congratulate you for a job well done. Again, welcome to tonight’s dinner, and best wishes to Stuyvesant High School for continued success.
